In this video, you will see how to migrate a project that was created in Siemens Simatic Manager to TIA portal, successfully integrating all the elements of the program (FBs, OBs, FCs, UDTs and so on).
It is imperative to note that some complications may arise regarding the migration of the hardware configuration if the configured hardware in the project is incompatible with TIA portal i.e. outdated modules that are not coded into the TIA portal software. In this case, you can leave the ‘include hardware configuration’ option unchecked when performing the migration.
